Description of Work
My paintings have a wide scope of influence, coming from autobiography,
landscape, personal observations and experiences. The iconography of the
Staffordshire potteries, from where I originate, i.e. the willow pattern and
vignettes from 18th Century ceramic designs are a recurring motif in my work. I
work in series, revisiting these familiar themes.
